University of Virginia Class of '27 Admissions Round Up
The results are in! For the Class of 2027, the University of Virginia (UVA) has accepted 2,182 students in their Regular Decision round. This is the third and final round of admissions for the institution.
This new cohort of students joins the 1,038 students accepted in the binding Early Decision round, and the nearly 6,000 students accepted in the non-binding Early Action round. This brings the total number of students admitted between all three rounds to 9,189 students.
This year, UVA received a record number of applications: 56,439. This means that they accepted just 16% of applicants between all three rounds.
Fun facts:
UVA has a heavy emphasis on its historic founding and boasts that it is one of the few universities in the country that is also a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. These sites are designated as cultural, historical, or scientifically significant.
The Jeffersonian architecture throughout the campus has led to UVA's ranking as the most beautiful college campus in America.
