Adam Nguyen | Founder
An educational strategist with 20+ years of experience in admissions advising, Adam guides students throughout the world to gain admissions to highly selective colleges, such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, UPenn, Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown, UChicago, Northwestern, Amherst, Swarthmore, Williams, and Pomona. Adam’s students (as early as Grade 7) learn to capitalize on their strengths and create compelling narratives that stand out in the admissions process. Additionally, Adam works with younger students applying to competitive private/boarding schools, as well as college students applying to prestigious graduate programs in business, law, and medicine.
While Adam specializes in students aiming for the Ivy League and similarly selective colleges, he also advises students of all backgrounds, including those seeking a more nurturing college experience or specialized programs. Over the years, students and families have relied on Adam to help select best-suited schools and academic programs. Regardless of a student’s academic background or college aim, Adam’s expert guidance is grounded in the belief that a student’s long-term success, health, and happiness should be the principal goal of the admissions process.
Adam has served as an Admissions Reader and Interviewer in Columbia’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions, as well as an academic and graduate school Advisor at Harvard. A member of the U.S. National Association for College Admission Counseling, Adam is a frequent speaker on admissions and testing and has appeared on Bloomberg TV and at Columbia, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and the Parents League of New York. Adam holds a JD from Harvard and a BA from Columbia. He has also studied at the University of California, Berkeley and the University College London.
Cory Bragar | Director of Standardized Testing
For 16 years, Cory Bragar has provided one-on-one instruction to students preparing for tests such as the SAT, ACT, LSAT and GMAT. Cory has also counseled hundreds of parents through the test prep process, allaying their fears and showing them how to successfully guide their children through testing. Cory is a graduate of The Dalton School, Trinity College, and Harvard Law School. In her spare time, Cory is an amateur magician and an avid practitioner and instructor of martial arts including Krav Maga, Brazilian Jujitsu and Taekwondo and a voracious consumer of popular culture.
