Dartmouth Admissions Round-up (Class of 2026)

 
 

Dartmouth offered admission to 1,207 students this week, adding to the 560 who were accepted via Early Decision and the QuestBridge program. This brings the overall acceptance rate to 6.24%. While still an exceptionally low rate for Dartmouth, it is a very slight uptick from last year’s 6.17%. The school also reported that the application pool contained 21 fewer students than last year. The 2021-22 cycle was a record-breaking pool, marking a whopping 33% increase from previous years.

Additional Stats

  • Approximately 57% of admitted students live in the southern and western United States

  • 53% of the admitted U.S. citizens and permanent residents are students of color

  • 17% are first-generation college applicants

  • 15% of the class of 2026 are international students
