Williams College Applicants Increase: Class of '28

For the Class of 2028, Williams College admitted 899 students in the Regular Decision round from a pool of 14,100 applications for an acceptance rate of 6.38%. These students join the 249 students admitted in the Early Decision round. In that round, the college received a record-breaking 1,068 applications leading to an Early Decision acceptance rate of 23.33%. 

This year, Regular Decision applications were up almost one-third from last year’s 10,315 applications. Though this year’s application cycle was not record-breaking, it still shows that the competition is growing for the college. 

In total, the college received 15,168 applications for both rounds, admitting 1,148 students for an overall acceptance rate of 7.57%.
