Swarthmore Class of '27 Admissions Roundup
The results are in! For the Class of 2027, Swarthmore has admitted 969 students from a pool of 14,287 applications. This marks one of the lowest acceptance rates in the college’s history accepting just 6.7% of applicants.
Exact numbers for Early Decision (ED) have not been published for the Class of 2027, but looking at the ED acceptance rate for the Class of 2026, which had an ED acceptance rate of 24%, our advice to you is if you plan to apply to Swarthmore, do so in the Early Decision round for your best chance of acceptance!

Swarthmore is part of the Tri-College Consortium, a cooperative arrangement between Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, and Haverford colleges. Students are allowed to cross-register for classes between all three institutions as well as take advantage of the more than 3 million books in the integrated library system!
