For the Class of 2027, Harvard University has admitted 1,220 new students during their Regular Decision round from a pool of 47,384 applications. This means they accepted just 2.6% of their application pool.
The 1,220 students join the 722 students accepted during the Early Decision round bringing the total number of accepted students to 1,942 from a pool of 56,937 applications equaling a 3.4% acceptance rate overall.
Over the past few years, Harvard has somehow become even more competitive. It is of interest to note that the acceptance rate for Early Decision was 7.6% which means that if you’re planning to apply to Harvard, we recommend you apply in the ED round as your chances are greater at acceptance!
