Say Hello To The First New Students of Georgetown’s Class of 2026
Earlier this month 881 Early Action applicants were accepted to Georgetown’s class of 2026. There were a total of 8,832 applicants, reflecting a 10 percent Early Action acceptance rate, which is a slight decline from last year’s 10.1 percent. Last year, the university admitted a total of 3,226 students to the Class of 2025 out of a pool of 27,650 Early Action and Regular Decision applicants.
Students accepted to the school have an average GPA of 4.01, which means they are at the top of their class. The 25th percentile SAT score is 1370, and the 75th percentile is 1530. For the ACT, the 25th percentile score is 31, and the 75th percentile score is 34.
If your student is in the process of applying to Georgetown, they need to be confident they are submitting an impeccable application with compelling supplements.
If your student has received a deferment, there is still hope! A deferment does not necessarily mean a denial of admission, but it does mean being strategic in the upcoming weeks.
