Princeton University: Admissions Deadlines & Class of '25 Stats
Founded in 1746, Princeton is the fourth-oldest university in the United States. Located in Princeton, New Jersey, the university provides instruction in the fields of humanities, natural sciences, engineering, and social sciences. The school has an endowment of $37.7 billion, which is the largest per student endowment in the United States.
Note: Princeton does not have an Early Decision (ED) round. Instead, they have what is called Single Choice Early Action (SCEA). Like ED, this means that you are only able to apply to one school during this round. So only apply if this is your first-choice school and it’s likely that you’ll be accepted. However, unlike ED, SCEA is not binding which means even if you get in during this round, you are still free to look at other offers.
For the Class of 2025 and Class of 2026, Princeton eliminated its SCEA Round. It is reinstated for the Class of 2027.
Princeton has not released its acceptance information for the Class of 2026. Because of this, we have included statistics for the Class of 2025.
