The requirement that college students be vaccinated against Covid-19 picked up high-profile momentum as Ivies such as Yale University, Princeton and Columbia University started requiring vaccinations for their students planning to be on campus in the fall. Over the past two months, the number of schools requiring vaccines of at least some students or employees went from 190 to 570. According to The Chronicle’s list, most of the schools requiring vaccination are private institutions, and all Ivies are implementing this policy.

Below are some institutions requiring COVID-19 vaccinations this fall:

  • Boston University

  • Brown University

  • Columbia University

  • Cornell University

Continue to monitor your college’s website for updates on vaccinations requirements. But if you’re planning to attend one of the Ivies, you should plan to be fully vaccinated before classes start.
