EVERYTHING PARENTS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STANDARDIZED TESTING FOR COLLEGE
Testing is an essential component of your child’s college application. It is also a very complicated, confusing and lengthy process with many variables and pitfalls.
-Should my child take the SAT, the ACT or both (and how many times)?
-When should she begin her preparation?
-What should that preparation look like?
-What about Subject Tests and AP exams?
-Aren’t the SAT and ACT changing?
-What will these changes look like and how will they affect my child?
-How can I make this process less maddening?
-How will we ever survive high school with all this testing?!?
By answering these questions and many more, Cory Bragar, Ivy Link’s Director of Standardized Testing and an alumna of Harvard Law School, Trinity College and The Dalton School, will help allay your fears and provide you with a plan to guide your child through the complicated maze of standardized testing. The more you know about the process, the better you will be able to manage it for your child and the less stressful it will be in the long run. While all parents are welcome, this workshop is designed specifically for parents of 9th through 11th graders.
