University of Pennsylvania: An Educational Behemoth With Something for Everyone

 
 

Founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1740, the University of Pennsylvania is located in Philadelphia. The school is divided into four undergraduate schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Wharton School, and the School of Nursing, as well as many graduate and professional schools including the first medical school in North America.

Class of 2027 Statistics

As is the case with Princeton, Cornell, and Columbia, UPenn has moved to withhold most of their admissions statistics. It was originally reported that they would only withhold that information through the end of the 2022-23, but as of this writing, no additional data has been released beyond their March 2023 announcement.
